That is one beautifull first knife...
It really is nice looking. I love the artwork of the scales. Well done sir.
I pick up a few of these each year (the only thing I collect) and have the same one - lovely. Excellent choice!
How is that beautiful Lionsteel as a food knife?
Eating with it right now. Needs thinning behind the edge (which I had done) and M390 works best with a 30 degree inclusive edge. With those it's a pretty good slicer.
I too have a baby that I edc.
Thats a beautifull pic Ben...
Are you a new dad?
Nah, he's one and a half but he's still my baby
My most photographed knife ever? Perhaps. Being monochrome means that it works photographically almost anywhere.
and a workhorse pair.
About the most heart wrenching thing I have ever done in the life of EDC was take this one, give it a final loving polish and then wrap it up to go to its new owner. I'm probably going to regret this for the rest of my life but there are medical bills that need to be paid.
Goodbye dear friend.
In other news, it was the Jewish New Year last week. One of my new years resolutions was no more knives this year. Stop giggling all of you, I'm being serious. Honest. No really.
First, a comforting internet hug for you... And second, happy new year Ben...
@Antithetik can I assume you've already ordered one of these? You've got a thing for massdrop knives.
Nope, thought about it maybe for a minute but remained strong!
tick tock, tick tock, tick tock...
Just cut through about 20 thick zip ties with my Lionsteel. It would have blunted my victorinox with half that amount. The M390 steel on this knife is still cutting exactly the same as before. Like!
That is a gorgeous knife.
I don't need it, and I probably wouldn't carry it over my others. So, I'm not going to buy it. But....man it's pretty.
